I purchased this sofa for my 2 year old son to sit on while he watches movies.I guess I'd first like to address some of the negative comments I'm seeing in regards to adults/teenagers/pets not being happy with this sofa. It says specifically in the item description:"It is a real piece of furniture, upholstered with soft Twill fabric to give your Kids a comfortable place to read and play."The key word in that statement is kids. I guess Amazon could put the word "kids" or "toddler" in the main description, but if you're planning to buy this couch, I would assume you read the description of what it is.That being said, my child loves this sofa. He props his Buzz Lightyear on one side and he sits on the other for some marathon Toy Story watching.Pros:-- Size. It's a perfect fit for my son and a toy/stuffed animal/blanket/pillow/etc. Don't confuse this with a full size couch. It isn't something that he and some friends could share, but if you had 2 younger(smaller) children I don't think there would be a problem with them fitting comfortably.-- Quality. Although this couch won't be confused with top of the line, amish made furniture, it is decently made. The color was a tad off from the picture but it works just fine. The fabric is soft and isn't too terribly difficult to clean up small spills. The little pillows are a decorative touch, but my son chooses to use his own.-- Price. I picked this up for under a hundred bucks. We couldn't find anything close to that price in our local stores.Cons:- None yet. I could see the fabric being an issue to some, but to knock this because your 20 year old doesn't fit on it is plain silly.If you're looking for a cheap sofa for your kids to use exclusively, this is it. It's inexpensive enough there you won't mind it taking the abuses of a little one, but it will keep the adult furniture safe.

I purchased this in Khaki on Oct 20, 2011 and was shocked as it arrived the next day on Oct 21. It was in stock and 'Sold By' Amazon. It arrived fully assembled and well packed. In regards to some other reviews here I went over the entire couch for bad staples, rips and any other construction flaw that I could find before I'd put it out for our son to play with. I found nothing wrong with it! I worked the back, arms, feet and seat area looking for any play in the construction and what I found was that it was a very tight, durable, strong, well assembled product! Every staple was fully inserted, every seam was well stitched, every fold was neatly tucked, no loose threads and no loose parts. Granted, the fabric is not high quality however it does clean up easily and holds up well enough. The throw pillows are very light and could have a bit more stuffing in them but your buying the sofa really and the pillows are secondary. Mostly they get tossed around a lot :).I'm a 185Lb Dad and my very active 17 month old son is tall and lean at 23Lbs. I've actually sat with my son on this while he had his snack and a drink a few times. It easily holds us without any creaking or stressful sounds. *I* wouldn't want to jump on it of course but he does and it holds up perfectly. He plays on it every day and quite often sits on it before bed with his milk. After almost 7 weeks of daily usage it still looks and feels new.Its a well built and solid piece of furniture for kids.--Its NOT an adult sofa.. do people not read Product Descriptions? I see at least 2 people down rating this because they were ignorant in their purchase.As for the 1 star review by Marsha A. Biggs.. She makes 2 comments on the actual product stating that it wouldn't hold more then 20Lbs and that it had cheap and shabby construction. Completely untrue. The rest of her review she is going off about the seller. Again these were sold by Amazon and if there was an issue she should have shipped it back to Amazon at no cost to herself.. not the manufacturer. It's too bad that 76 of 90 people found her review useful. Her review really was not useful or factual in any way.--Go ahead and purchase this Kids Sofa. They will love it and so will you. I easily see him using this for several years.

PLEASE BE AWARE OF THE HIDDEN "RETURN" POLICY OF THIS SELLER! Any returns are subject to a 15% RESTOCKING FEE that IS charged to you upon its return, not to mention the cost of reshipping the item back to FANTASY FURNITURE, which will cost you at least $50.00. And what a HUGE disappointment this couch turned out to be! The pictures and descriptions listed with the products are VERY MISLEADING and DECEIVING. I had originally bought the item for one my medium size dogs, but unless you have a poodle or a cat that you plan to put on it, DON'T BOTHER GETTING ANY OF THESE COUCHES! Anything heavier than 15 lb's will probably overload this couch and break it. Construction properties were quite shabby and cheap. If you plan to purchase this for a child, make sure that your child doesn't weigh more than 15-20 lbs, or older than a 2yr. old or they will have outgrown this couch before they even sit on it. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY...LOOK ELSEWHERE FOR SMALL FURNITURE FROM ANOTHER VENDOR.
