Rare Part, Perfect Fit!

My Jeep: 2005 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited (LJ)Buyer beware: this part is NOT for the shorter-wheelbase TJ model Jeep. It will not fit (too long). This is ONLY for the LJ model Jeep Wrangler (2004-2006 2-door Unlimited).That being said: this is a very easy installation, very user-friendly. It comes with the Duster cover, two tailgate bar retainers, four screws for the retainers, the tailgate bar (you can't use your existing one). If you already have a tailgate bar installed at the factory (all Jeeps with the factory soft top do), the holes for the retainers line up perfectly. Unscrew the four self-tapping screws, remove the factory retainers, put in the new retainers, screw in the self-tapping screws.After that, you fasten the front of the duster cover with nylon straps (loosely... you'll tighten it later), stretch the top over the deck, connect to the tailgate bar (the new one that comes with the kit), and install the bar. The duster cover fits perfectly over the sport bars with hook-and-loop collars. Finally, tuck in the plastic retainers all around the tub channel. The very last step? Tighten the nylon belts at the front (closest to the cabin), and you have a very nice, very tight duster cover.The kit also comes with a strap to keep the back seat in the stowed position. It doesn't affect the function of the back seat, and is a nice touch. You fold the back seat forward, and it keeps the seat from bouncing up and down as you drive. It's very convenient, because it keeps your back seat in place, in case you need it to tote passengers. If you find yourself in that situation, take off the Duster cover (less than five minutes), roll it up and store it in the back, and pop the back seat up. Easy.Highly recommended, and looks SHARP!
