Riding in comfort

As the riding season is getting colder with every new day I started to look for some fall gear. After visiting the local biker stores it seemed that I would have to shed off $130-$200 for leather chaps to keep the morning wind and chill under control, but then I saw this product here on Amazon for a steal price (plus I could finally use my Amazon coupon on something that I actually needed).So I had these chaps for a couple of weeks now - what a difference! I have a 35 mi commute mostly on the highway and I usually leave before dawn at 6:00 AM. Needless to say it gets CCOOOLLLD! These chaps protect from wind very well. Fortunately, I have not had a chance to test them in a rain yet.The leather is good quality and putting the chaps on is very easy. You may want to consider oiling the zippers as they are made of bare metal, which is good for durability, but you have to line them up precisely to zip up. My waist size is 30, so I bought XS and they fit perfectly. The chaps are lined inside with mesh cloth from the hip to below the knees, but the bottom is bare leather, so you can hem them to length.Overall, I couldn't be happier with my choice and I had extra cash left to buy nice heavy gloves and a leather jacket.Happy riding!

Love these Chaps

BUY THESE CHAPS!! Cant miss at the price. Very happy with them, thick enough to keep you warm well into the Northeast fall. But thin enough to keep on durring those slightly cool days and not be hot. Very durable, another reviewer complained about the cheap snaps. I find them very durable and unless you are pretending to be an NBA player and plan on ripping them off like warmup pants you will not have a problem. I found the size chart right on.

Flawless Fit!

One of the very best chaps out there in terms of fit and handsome looks at a good price. First time and up to last time worn over pass 3 years these chaps have kept a form fitting, form accentuating fit unlike many looser chaps out there that are loose in the back or around the front. None of that here! Flawless fit pretty much every time, especially with low cut jeans. I'm glad I followed Jafrum's sizing guide with jeans on. The leather has kept well so certainly seems durable and metal snaps have only rusted a little over the 3 years I've tested in my very high humidity tropical region and held back a review for, easily prevented with coating or painted over. Hands down, best chaps I've ever owned. Now I just wish for these in White and Brown! Note: Comes with 1 external pocket built in case it covers your pants pockets, if this is enough or not depends but the looks and fit make it worth it for me.
