Superior Quality

I actuall purchased this at Lowes after finsing out that it cost the sam there as it does here and I didn't have to pay the shipping fees. I love it! It was very easy to install and the ball bearings on the chrome model are super smooth and good quality. The 35 quart bins are included and bit snugly into the wire holder so theres not alot of movement. They're quite secure. I was also looking at some of the models that are top and bottom mounted with the wood holders but don't waste your money. This quite sturdy. I purchased the door mounting kit to give it a more built in feel and it's awesome! The cans are a little hard to get out but we put a trash bag inside anyway so that's not a problem. The sliders come all the way out of the cabinet so you don't have to rach inside. This model fits an 18 inch cabinet or one side of a 36 inch wide cabinet. The 27 quart model is for a 15 inch cabinet. It doesn't specify here so just thought that might be helpful.

Easy to use, high quality, great product.

Packaging and delivery: This product comes in a heavy-duty cardboard box. Product was ordered on a Saturday and arrived 9 days later on Monday.Contents: As a pleasant surprise, this product comes fully assembled. The only extras are 4 screws and what appears to be a removable handle. I was pleasantly surprised that the two black waste baskets were included. I thought I'd have to buy those separate.Build: Everything is very sturdy. The rollers are heavy-duty and fully-extendable. The waste baskets fit snug, and the unit does not move or shake around. It has a well-built feel to it.Installation: I had set aside two hours for this project, knowing how such things go. Amazingly, I was done in less than 10 minutes, and most of that was emptying out the cabinet. Installation is literally no more than placing the fully pre-assembled unit and driving in 4 screws.Cost: This same thing was about $110 plus tax at Lowes. It was about $79.35 (including shipped) on Amazon.10-Month Update: We've been using this for about 10 months and it still works flawlessly. We purchased the addition that attaches the cabinet door to the sliding portion. It too works perfectly. No problems at all with any of it. Highly recommend.

Looking for the best

I needed a sturdy under-cabinet mounted and slide-out trash can holder and since I had previously bought, installed & used a lighter-weight product for 5 years in another house, am pleased to report that this choice was a major improvement over that one. This is a heavy-duty, well-made product that delivers exactly what I wanted: smooth slide action, trash can capacity (at 35 qts that's the largest plastic can that will fit inside a cabinet in a slider-13 gal. bags fit perfectly). I wanted double cans since I wanted to recycle in one while using the other for more appropriate trash. It came with an extra feature that wasn't in the sales information or even in the product sheets in the box when it arrived. It came with a 7" long U-shaped piece of metal with black clips on the "horseshoe" ends and, in spite of having no direction from the installation manual, I clipped it onto the top front rail of the slider metal body frame. It's a "pull-out" handle for the whole slider that I never had missed or thought of before since no other products I've seen have one. After using this for the past two weeks, what a great feature!! No more grabbing the edge of the plastic can to pull the whole thing out, sticking your fingers into old garbage and it rotates up or down, as you want to use it, and then sitting flush with the rest of the fixture so you can close the cabinet door. Now that I've used one, I'd never do without it. That alone makes this purchase worth it but the rest of the product is solidly made for long-term use. My only complaint with ALL these manufacturers is that they expect us to mount these things into the cabinet using 1/2" wood screws at all 4 hole locations. That's ok for the front two, at the fulcrum point of the fully extended unit, but the back two screws get some serious upward pressure, especially when the user presses down into the trash can to compact the garbage to delay changing bags, as we all do. And since the mounting wood is almost always some composite, the screws WILL tear out eventually. Better to drill a couple of holes and use some type of spreading anchor, like a butterfly, when installing these back two or you will be doing it later on anyway. Anway, I have to give 5 stars to this bad boy as a product.
