Great Casual Watch

I received this watch as a gift and it is a great watch. The colors are nice and it is great for wearing casually. The leather band has a good feel to it and the number design looks cool. I like the square face design, it fits my wrist really well. The battery lasts almost 2 years which isn't bad if you can get it replaced for a good price. I haven't had any problems with this watch and I also enjoyed how light it was for wearing all day. Overall I am satisfied with this watch and would recommend to anyone looking for a casual watch.

looks even better in person

this review is coming from a person with many designer watches (Armani, CK, Gucci, ect...). this is a very fine watch the leather is darker than the picture hints to. that is good. in the picture the leather look slightly warn but in person it is not warn at all dark, rich, and glossy. if your in the market for formal brown leather watch i would highly recommend this one. i will try to post a picture of mine soon

Attractive design!

I've had this watch for a few weeks and it's been great. I had been looking to get a watch with a brown band/dial that was not in the usual round shape. And this watch fits the bill well. The strap looks and feels good though it was a bit stiff in the beginning. The dial is large and the numbers are easy to read. A minor caveat: there are no minute lines in-between the main numerals and it can be difficult to ascertain the time for, say, 12:33pm for instance.It's the overall design and feel that really impressed me. The picture on the product page doesn't do it justice; it appears light brown but is, in fact, a rich sort-of dark brown color.Definitely adds to my watch collection :)

Best boots for the bucks

I bought my first pair of these boots in October 2005 and just replaced them with another pair today (March 2007). The old ones had about 1700 miles on them and were getting a bit worn out. My job involves walking most of the day through people's yards and sometimes cross-country. These boots are light, comfortable right out of the box, and waterproof. In nearly 31 years on the job I've never had any boots as comfortable as these, and I've worn just about all the brands out there.I'm also a backpacker and would recommend these for all but the toughest hikes.

Light, rugged, yet comfortable.

This is one of the lightest yet most well constructed pair of boots I've worn recently. My GF got them for me recently since she saw them on my Amazon.com wishlist, and I am thankful she did. These boots feel so light they almost feel like they give my running shoes a run for their money in weight. I almost feel asleep with them on and barely noticed as I was dozing off they were still on.I've yet to use them in inclement weather as I have so many other light and medium duty hiking boots, but just from how they feel and how they are constructed, I doubt they'll do badly. They vent well so my feet stay dry, and they look great. Tread grip is typical for the type, especially being so new.The one concern I was wary of were the two top lace metal grooves above ankle height. I've had boots that had similar lace grooves, and they were made of thin gauge stamped metal most of the time, and they would end up breaking off after a few months of wear due to metal fatigue and stress. The lace grooves on this boot are of a somewhat heavier gauge and they aren't stamped either. I doubt I'll have a similar problem with them as I have experienced in the past, but if I do, I'll definitely post about it here.

Excellent lightweight hiker

I travel a lot and these are easy to take with me... Light enough for travel but sturdy enough for light/medium hikes. I love 'm! ( they are a little smaller then my other Timberland Boots -Alpine trail- so think about ordering a half size larger...)

Great Bay Rum Cologne!

Bay Rum seems to be hard to find; I much prefer it to almost all mens after shave and cologne out there. I find Trumper's to be the best quality Bay Rum I've been able to find. Trumper Lime is excellent also; it's nice to switch off between the two. Hard to find Trumper products; my local shop closed recently, so I now buy online through Amazon.A far more expensive, but excellent assortment of men's colognes come from Creed, available through Amazon resellers. I've recently been using Creed Tabarome, though my wife finds it too strong. Creed Irish Tweed is a popular scent; might try that next.
