I purchased this cover and was immediately impressed with the quality and strength of this design. It's not 100% waterproof when closed, but it's pretty darn close.Installation is pretty easy, but it takes a bit more than the 5 minutes they say it's going to take. That fact notwithstanding, installation is very straightforward. I would not recommend using the special brackets that are included, but I would recommend using the washers included for the front mounts to really secure the front panel to the Tacoma bed rail system (just add them to the threaded rod before you tighten down the wing nuts).I've dented the cover already, but the dent is on the inside, and it was a really hard lick. The skin is intact and the strength of the panel has not been compromised. This is one very tough cover that can take what you throw at it and it can support an incredible amount of weight on top when closed.I highly recommend this cover for any truck owner!
