The BLACKHAWK! Omega Vest Cross Draw/Pistol Mag is constructed of heavy-duty nylon mesh for maximum breathability and is adjustable for length and girth up to 6” length and additional 32” girth. It offers a robust drag handle, #10 YKK Vislon zippers and side-release buckles for rapid donning and doffing, padded HawkTex Sniper Shoulder for a fully ambidextrous vest, and two large, zippered map pouches inside. The vest has an interior pocket for BLACKHAWK! Hydration System (sold separately), heavy-duty webbing on front and back for attaching S.T.R.I.K.E. pouches, and belt loops secure vest to any web belt (belt not included). Features: Cross-draw holster secured by an adjustable side-release buckle; magazine pouches with adjustable flaps for tall or short magazines; one compass/strobe/GPS/small radio pouch on shoulder; four pistol magazine pouches; one horizontal accessory pouch; and three M16/M4 pouches hold six magazines.

I Have this vest its ausome!! if your looking to carry 6rnd of shotgun shells on the velcro pocket where a name plate would go theres is one company that makes it "Maxpedition 1449B: Maxpedition Horizontal Shotgun 6rnd Panel - Black 1449B" would also recommend: Blackhawk Enhanced Military Web Belt to go with your vest works good for hanging a KA-Bar from it as well this vest is high quality that you can see and feel its very confortable as well can be ajusted once its on with the 3 traps on the left and right sides either tighten it or loosen it i did that for a good fit when tring it over a parka i have the nylon is tough and stiff great stitching thruout it will take a beating that i do know the zippers are very heavy duty but then again this is blackhawk we are talking about....but you get what you pay for remember that so best of luck!!)NOTE the rifle mag pouches will hold (1)ak mag per pouch only **top pocket can hold a 642 airweight upside down with the pocket cover over it but its tight if you wanted to

This is a great product and it is very well-made, but I don't use it much. I didn't buy this to roll around and play commando in my backyard. I am not affiliated with the military or law enforcement. I am simply and experienced and avid firearms enthusiast. Not that I think it wouldn't hold up to real world tactical situations, I just want to make it clear that my experience with this product is not of that nature. I simply bought it to hold gear and extra magazines when I am walking around shooting ground squirrels. For that, I don't think there is a better item for the money. Yes there are cheaper vests with similar features, but they don't feel anywhere near as well-made as this one. There are also many more expensive options, but for the average person or weekend commando it is all you need. I am very happy with the design and quality of this vest. I researched many options and I always came back to this one. You will pay two to three times as much for a molle setup of this quality.
