In Beast Wars Transmetals, Tigatron and Airazor wer'e combined by something called the Vok. The reason I knocked off a star for durability is that he has a gimmick that when you pull a tab, the wings come down, feathers pop up, and missle launchers flip around and fire on their own. Why is that problem? It gets in the way of transformation which is kinda hard. He is in the same class as Optimal Optimus and Dragon Megatron. It would be nice if they made it so you could dismantle it for transformation but what are ya gonna do. I recomend it for animal mode most. I prefer that mode much more than robot mode and transformation is very hard.

If you ever wished for a transformer that has 3 modes, phenominal powers, 4 missiles, and are two aminals and two sparks in 1, your wish has been granted. This is one of a few Maximals/Autobots I bought, and there's no wondering why. Two Maximals; a hawk woman bot named Air Razor, and a Male siberian Tiger named Tigertron are abducted by a strange booby trap alien machine on earth. The two are fuzed together in space and beamed to earth, through luck they are freed from the alien influence and quickly reassume their role in the beast wars against the predacons. Earlier in the beast wars Depth Charge (maximal hero) and Rampage (predacon villian) were released, after that, Maximal leader Optimus Primal became the Ultimate fusion of autobot and maximal in Optimal Optimus, to which there was no Predacon equivilant, and now with transmetal 2 transformers the predacon, in this case Megatron a red dragon by the way, is bested by tiger/hawk with elemental powers, basically can control the weather and the earth, and has 4 missiles and a paralyzing ion cannon to bring to bear. This figure is rediculously fun to play with, I was 13 when I got it, and I played with it more than an 8 year old. Its pretty faithful to the show as far as design. Tons of fun, and worth it

Tigerhawk The fused form of Tigatron and Airazor is suitably imposing and is very show accurate.Beast Mode: looks like a Tiger version of a Griffin or similar mythological creature. But its accurate to the show.Robot mode: large and bulky and can be a bit tricky to stand if its feet aren't adjusted just so.Negatives: Just one its missile firing gimmick for the non feather shaped missile is overly sensitive and they will fire off with little provocation.This is a Must have for fans and collectors of the Beast Wars toy line and series.
