This was my favorite transformer as a kid...hell probably even my favorite toy of all time!!My original (much like my childhood) is long gone by now, but this re-issue was a nice affordable way to recapture some of that old glory!He is as awesome as you remember, the trailer with it's dune buggy that launches out of the back and the little duel rocket launcher is sweet!And yeah, sure, the materials may not be as durable as the original (more plastic) but unless you can afford to drop hundreds of dollars on something like that, this is a great option to get you back into the game.

I have been looking for the original optimus. I never had him as a kid and I found out about the commerative reissues. I was glad that I found this item. Thank you for your help and your fast service.
