Found What I'm Looking For

I've never been a person to buy something just because some admired celebrity has it. I don't even wear clothes with other people's names on them. But I did see a picture of The Edge wearing a strap something like this one with his famous Explorer. So, having just bought my own Explorer (not the famous kind unfortunately) to go with my black Strat, Vox amp, and Herdim picks, and well, needing a new strap, I picked this one. I know. Shocker.It's a really nice strap though. The tapered end looks great, the padding makes it very comfortable to use, and it feels like it'll still be around by the time I actually learn to play.There are really only two minor annoyances with this strap. First is that it's so thick I had a tough time getting strap locks attached to it; I really had to wrench the hardware on but it's very secure now. Second, the inside lining of the strap is somewhat slick, and my non-famous (Epiphone) Explorer neck droops down if I'm not holding it up all the time. The cheesy thin suede-ish strap I had been using had more 'grip.' Maybe a more famous (Gibson) Explorer would be more balanced. Or maybe The Edge has to hold his (neck) up all the time, too.In any case, I definitely recommend this strap. No matter how much it coincidentally might look similar to one that might possibly have been used by some admired celebrity.

levy makes a great strap, i purchased 3 from Amazonand all ready own the wide one. i have one for mandolin,banjo,guitarand bass.the price was also good,i got 3 for what 1 would cost in mylocal shop.

Good product. I put on a 04 2wd f150. I only got the two inches one because I didnt need another 1/2 in. If I had to go back I would have gotten the really cheap ones bc there is no need to get these unless you just really need aluminum ones. Very good and detailed instructions A+

Worked Perfect

For business applications, I sometimes worry about generic toner brands. But this was just so much cheaper that I decided to try it. It would perfect, installed without problems, and produces nice output. I am only at a 1,000 printed pages so far, but so far so good.

Great Jersey

Product is great. Though the description does not specify, the front crest is NOT a screened print (something I was worried about after ordering). I was happy to find it is a stitched plate. My only complaint is that the packing was a bit haphazard and this led to the front crest being bent or folded in two different places. It can be ironed out, but it prevented me from wearing it immediately.

This is really nice

I found this ornament on Amazon.com while looking for the tree toppers. My family adores Tinker Bell, so I was very exited to see this one. The size is also perfect for our tall tree and not so tall sealings. I always do research on the purchase, and frequently Amazon.com would have the best price. In this case I did much better by shoping at Disney Store ([...]). Identical Tinker Bell topper was there for sale for $24.5o, but I got it on the Cyber Monday for $14.50! Compare to the price on Amazon of almost $70...I did pretty good!

Nice idea, poor construction

The rake does adjust from 24 to 8 inches. It's very nice for getting into tighter spaces. Mine broke while raking in one of the tight spots. The rake seperated where the base of the teeth attach to the adjustable clamp. I was able to feed it back through and clamp it down tigher using some pliers.

Great Rake

I didn't know if I would like this one when I first purchased this rake, but after using it I just love it. Easy to collapse to thinner width to get into tight areas. Then it readjusts quickly and effortlessly back to the original width. The handle collapses for easy storage or for use in tighter areas. Great design.

A Girl, A Rake, A Fall Afternoon

Saw this in some high-end gardening magazine, and purchased it from Amazon.com. Why? Well, it's got great modern design aesthetics (never thought I'd say that about a humble garden tool), and it does the job in my backyard, which is chockfull of curved raised beds and flagstones. Light enough to use for an hour without tiring, yet sturdy enough to gather the leaves.

Great quality strap - super soft leather

Levy's makes great quality straps and this one is no exception. It looks great and is very well made. The top is super soft leather and has a great feel. The back is nice quality suede. The two layers of leather make it nice and thick so no worries about the ends ripping. But what I like best about it is that I could actually get this strap on my guitar's strap buttons. I own another high-end Levy's strap (way more expensive than this one) and the leather is so thick and stiff that it is practically impossible to get it on the strap buttons. This strap is every bit as thick, but the soft leather makes all the difference.

Great looking quality strap

I have two other Levy's straps and this one seems to be of high quality leather, the thickness of the leather combines with the suede backing make it comfortable to use for hours with my old acoustic guitar. The workmanship of the strap is spot on and it seems to get softer as time goes on unlike other straps I have had.I use strap locks with this and all of my straps and the strap seems to fit the guitar nicely. I had my reservations about the price of this thing, but it is exceptional for what it costs. I get compliments on it during practice sessions regularly. The strap is great if you are looking for a more traditional woven pattern, mine is black, but I have seen the blue in person and it is darker than the picture.
