Good heavy duty/supple leather,nice color,excellent 3D carvings w/contrasting colored highlights,engaging design, the stiching is first rate, all in all a very well made strap to last a lifetime. This strap was for a very heavy 1983 swamp ash Fender Telecaster so the strap needed to be wide and durable. This strap has both of these qualities, the color goes really well with the natural wood finish and the Indian Musicians/artwork of the carved design are really cool looking. I couldn't be happier with this selection, it is as comfortable to wear as it is to look at. I have to give it a 10 out of 10.

Color is Different

I bought the brown guitar strap. What was delivered was much darker than what is shown in here. I wanted a lighter one just as shown. Anyway, this strap is good. Cannot return the item as I am outside the US.

Not What I expected...

I ordered this at the same time as I ordered the corresponding front floor mats. The rear mats (yes mats) arrived first and totally confused me. The picture shows just one mat not two separate ones so I originally tried to fit them in the front. Nope they belong to the back. Once I figured out my error everything was fine; really, they fit great!

Discrete F.E.T Hi-Gain Distortion and Overdrive Booster IN ONE BOX. You could think of them as 2 separate pedals. or think of them as stages to be linked together for endless combinations. Hi-Gain side has Volume, Distortion knobs, Bass, Mid, and Highs minipots. Booster Side has Volume, Overdrive knobs, Bass and Highs minipots. (these new hi-Q sealed minipots don't break BTW) Hard clipped distortion (the way most pedals achieve distortion) at one point in a circuit can be cool, but stage after stage of FET (GT-500) is very real, very amplike, has ridiculous amounts of sustain even at low volume, does the great chunky low string rhythm stuff and cleans up incredibly well when you turn down the guitar's volume. The GT500 contains 9 x FET's, 2 Mosfets and 1 x Transistor with no opamps or clipping diodes used. What's special about the EQ? The Hi-Gain side has a discrete Inductor-Driven Midrange circuit....never been done in a pedal before. Yes there's a wah wah inductor inside the pedal that gives the Midrange control its ability to drastically increase or decrease the entire Low Mid, Mid, and Hi-Mid frequencies, to comical proportions. All this is done without any opamps because all of the active 3 Band EQ's I've tried are horrible, killing all harmonics, all excitement, and sounding as sterile as the "EQ" in a Digital Recording Program. Nope, this has 100% discrete matched FET's ;) This Mid control mixed with a strong Bass and Treble control help give the GT-500 the ability to dial in more variations than a simple tone control, which can only roll off the Highs.What's the "Series switch" in the middle do? The Series Select Switch allows you to choose which pedal comes first (allowing you to instantly change the order of the 2 circuits) Booster Distortion or Distortion Booster for example: A clean boost slamming into the front end of a Distortion sounds way different than a distortion followed by the clean boost...and when the EQ's of the respective...

FULLTONE GRINDS ....Oh Yea Baby!!!

I have been playing guitar for some 20 years or more and it's the simple things that get my attention as far as gear goes, keeping my attention is a hard thing to do with gear. Face it; we all do the same things, nice new pedals, great looking guitars, or amps that we can't live without. Wow...It's called G.A.S. (Gear Acquisition Syndrome). In the end we keep the things that work and the rest of the "stuff" gets sold on eBay (for a loss in most cases). Fulltone pedals have become the "attention holders" for me now. I have 3 on my pedal board (OCD, GT-500, and the Octafuzz) along with some MXR time based effects. The GT-500 is the most versatile distortion pedal that I have used period. The thing is built like a tank, has simple controls and it is really 2 pedals in one. The clean boost side has tone controls to fine tune if needed and a Drive control that will add a slight amount of grind for great 60's and 70's rhythm tones. The volume is for output and output is has, with lots of throttle so look out, it will seriously drive a tube amp into OD. The Distortion side has volume and drive controls. Just set the drive up past 1 o'clock and it grinds wicked. There are 2 unique things on this pedal that I love: 1. the mids frequency control for the distortion side (it's an inductor like in a WAH pedal, scooped Mids anyone?). 2. The switch that allows you to choose the order of the pedals, booster into distortion (Very High Gain!!) or distortion into booster (Very Loud!!). Wicked tone from fat warm distorted Fender amp to the distinct shrill grinding of a Marshall or overdriven Vox. It's all in there, just need to find your tone. It costs more than most pedals but it's really 2 pedals in one so look at it that way. It's the last one I plan on buying. Try it, then keep it...

A great box!

Like most guitarists that I know, buying/trying gear is a way of life. Along the way, I've messed around with probably hundreds of effects pedals. After many years, there are only a few that have hung around. This is one of them. In fact, I've continued using just a very few OD/distortions, all of them being by Fulltone. This one is my go-to Swiss army knife. Not only makes a variety of sounds, but I find all of them very usable from one end of the range to the other. Really not hard to dial in for me, just have to listen carefully to what the movement of the knobs will do. I like the basic flavors provided by the left side, which is a cleanish to overdrive, and the right which starts at OD and moves out to distortion. Especially interesting is the right side mid control which is actually for a wah pedal. Way more effective, in this application anyway, than a standard mid control. Together, you can mix up a bunch of very musical textures, the toggle that switches the order of the two sides also being very useful. Just a great all-aroung tool. A beautifully laid out package & certainly built to last under even heavy use. I expect it will be around long after I'm gone as well, which is kind of cool to think about, too.

A great pedal.

I'll start with my intent behind the purchase of this pedal. I have a Carvin X100 (tube)amp that I wanted to push the clean channel to gain a bit of crunch out of. Unfortunately the Clean channel that I have will only lend itself to speaker break-up, but remains clean for the most part.The GT-500 was my fix for this, attempting to overdrive the initial gain stages of the clean channel to push them beyond the safe headroom designed into the amp. This pedal definitely works. So, mission accomplished.The overdrive is a nice, warm, balanced overdrive that leans a bit toward fuzz. The distortion is also a little fuzz like, but definitely sounds appealing to my ear. There is a Rat that will be leaving my pedal board soon, due to the similar sound, but less noisy distortion of this pedal.This is a great sounding boost/overdrive/distortion pedal with enough tweakabilty to provide many different tones, while allowing the tone of your amplifier to come through.Great pedal!

Superior Quality

I actuall purchased this at Lowes after finsing out that it cost the sam there as it does here and I didn't have to pay the shipping fees. I love it! It was very easy to install and the ball bearings on the chrome model are super smooth and good quality. The 35 quart bins are included and bit snugly into the wire holder so theres not alot of movement. They're quite secure. I was also looking at some of the models that are top and bottom mounted with the wood holders but don't waste your money. This quite sturdy. I purchased the door mounting kit to give it a more built in feel and it's awesome! The cans are a little hard to get out but we put a trash bag inside anyway so that's not a problem. The sliders come all the way out of the cabinet so you don't have to rach inside. This model fits an 18 inch cabinet or one side of a 36 inch wide cabinet. The 27 quart model is for a 15 inch cabinet. It doesn't specify here so just thought that might be helpful.

Easy to use, high quality, great product.

Packaging and delivery: This product comes in a heavy-duty cardboard box. Product was ordered on a Saturday and arrived 9 days later on Monday.Contents: As a pleasant surprise, this product comes fully assembled. The only extras are 4 screws and what appears to be a removable handle. I was pleasantly surprised that the two black waste baskets were included. I thought I'd have to buy those separate.Build: Everything is very sturdy. The rollers are heavy-duty and fully-extendable. The waste baskets fit snug, and the unit does not move or shake around. It has a well-built feel to it.Installation: I had set aside two hours for this project, knowing how such things go. Amazingly, I was done in less than 10 minutes, and most of that was emptying out the cabinet. Installation is literally no more than placing the fully pre-assembled unit and driving in 4 screws.Cost: This same thing was about $110 plus tax at Lowes. It was about $79.35 (including shipped) on Amazon.10-Month Update: We've been using this for about 10 months and it still works flawlessly. We purchased the addition that attaches the cabinet door to the sliding portion. It too works perfectly. No problems at all with any of it. Highly recommend.

Looking for the best

I needed a sturdy under-cabinet mounted and slide-out trash can holder and since I had previously bought, installed & used a lighter-weight product for 5 years in another house, am pleased to report that this choice was a major improvement over that one. This is a heavy-duty, well-made product that delivers exactly what I wanted: smooth slide action, trash can capacity (at 35 qts that's the largest plastic can that will fit inside a cabinet in a slider-13 gal. bags fit perfectly). I wanted double cans since I wanted to recycle in one while using the other for more appropriate trash. It came with an extra feature that wasn't in the sales information or even in the product sheets in the box when it arrived. It came with a 7" long U-shaped piece of metal with black clips on the "horseshoe" ends and, in spite of having no direction from the installation manual, I clipped it onto the top front rail of the slider metal body frame. It's a "pull-out" handle for the whole slider that I never had missed or thought of before since no other products I've seen have one. After using this for the past two weeks, what a great feature!! No more grabbing the edge of the plastic can to pull the whole thing out, sticking your fingers into old garbage and it rotates up or down, as you want to use it, and then sitting flush with the rest of the fixture so you can close the cabinet door. Now that I've used one, I'd never do without it. That alone makes this purchase worth it but the rest of the product is solidly made for long-term use. My only complaint with ALL these manufacturers is that they expect us to mount these things into the cabinet using 1/2" wood screws at all 4 hole locations. That's ok for the front two, at the fulcrum point of the fully extended unit, but the back two screws get some serious upward pressure, especially when the user presses down into the trash can to compact the garbage to delay changing bags, as we all do. And since the mounting wood is almost always some composite, the screws WILL tear out eventually. Better to drill a couple of holes and use some type of spreading anchor, like a butterfly, when installing these back two or you will be doing it later on anyway. Anway, I have to give 5 stars to this bad boy as a product.

just what I was looking for......

I got this product for Christmas 2010 from my wife. I ordered the black one, but the one that they sent me was different than the black one that they have pictured. Its black, but it has the features and look of the colored LM18's. It has the bigger pouch at the top of the neck, and the leather has more of a "leather grain feel" to it. I do kind of a music-therapy gig,and I play every day. My prievous gig bag was by wolf pak. It was good,but bulky and after a year, it was starting to wear out.So this year, I bit the bullit,spent the money and got an expensive leather gig bag.So far I have been very happy. It looks great,its not as bulky as my old one, and my strat fits in it very well. Highly reccomended.

Levy's 14" Djembe Bag is Great, but watch your sizing

I got this bag recently as a birthday gift. It seems to be a great bag, seems to be well constructed, and has several nice features. Time will tell how it holds up. I will followup on this review after I have had it a while. I like that it has MANY ways to carry the bag; backpack straps, detachable single shoulder strap, well positioned padded carry handle, as well as a handy bottom loop of webbing (in the lower right of the default pic) that is hand for grabbing it out of the car. It appears to be made out of 1/2" foam padding, with a soft panel on the inside, and cordura like panel on the outside. There are two opposing zippers on the lid, and a single zipper on the top pocket. Zippers are their own brand, but seem to be of good quality, similar to YKK. The top zippered pocket is handy for carrying extras such as a tuning key, wallet, keys, etc..The actual bag dimensions are:Lid diameter edge to edge - 18.5"Lid height - 1.5"Body height - 24.75"Base diameter edge to edge - 10.5"You'll want to watch the sizing on this bag, especially if your djembe has a large bell on the bottom. My 14" Remo synthetic djembe (Remo Djembe Drum - Key Tuned (14 Inch, Earth Finish) with dimensions (14" head, 16" edge to edge top, 25.25" height, 8.25" edge to edge bottom diameter) fits in this bag just about perfectly. It actually stands about 1.5" taller than the bottom half of the zipper on the bag, but there is enough room to zip it closed, without pulling anything tight. I have a hand carved 12" Djembe (12.5" head, 14" edge to edge top diameter, 24.5" height, 9.75" edge to edge bottom diameter)that fits in fine, but when I put it in the bag, I have to coax the bottom bell in there. The top half of the drum is a bit loose in the case, but I don't think it will be an issue.Overall, this seems to be a great bag that I can easily recommend.

Levy's Djembe Bag is a Winner

There are literally thousands of choices when you are looking to buy a djembe bag, so you could spend many hours searching online (like I did) and still be lost, or buy your bag directly from Levy's and be completely satisfied. This is a no nonsense, sturdy polyester bag that will weather the storm of daily use and, I believe, wear well for many years. Its simple yet functional design is terrific: There are shoulder straps so you can wear it like a backpack, or you can attach a separate strap and wear it over the shoulder. There is one zipper on top which allows easy access to your djembe and my 13-inch drum fits snuggly into the 14-inch, djembe bag. This is a no-frills bag with without clever words or a funky-art design on it; rather, it's unadorned exterior reflects a strong, well-made item built to last. If you want a bag to protect your djembe for a very long time, then this bag is the one for you.

Excellent. Maybe the best case for a 14" Remo Djembe

I wanted a case with backpack straps, good protection, and good quality for my Remo 14" Djembe at a reasonable price. This one is it.The top anchor points of the backpack straps are kinda close together, which means the case/drum will flop back and forth sometimes. This is not for extended hiking. But when I want to carry my djembe, guitar case, and a shoulder bag from the car to a building (at the same time), it's invaluable. They also were smart and designed the carry handle so that it's not rigid -- which means it doesn't dig into your spine when you use the backpack straps. Remo makes a bag for the djembe, but I think the newer version only has one strap -- which makes it a no-go for carrying along with lots of other stuff.Great padding, durable fabric and construction, backpack straps, and it's not a budget breaker. I'm very happy with it, and you might be, too!

LS25 Wonderfence Review

My first impression of this system was when I picked up the box from the front porch and nearly dropped it. It's much heavier than I was expecting, the LS positioner and the Wonder Fence components, in particular. It seemed like there were metal parts packed into every nook and cranny in the box. The "Made in the U.S.A." label was a welcome sight. This is really, really nice stuff.Assembling the system was uneventful, with the Wonder Fence and LS positioner 95% complete. You do need to assemble the smaller fixtures. Instructions are very detailed and clear, but there are several short manuals instead of one giant book that covers everything. I figured it out pretty easily. The Wonder Fence slides into a slot on the main fence and is adjustable like a shaper for larger router bits, and a set of wedges offsets the fence halves in very precise amounts for edge jointing or moulding jobs (I still don't own a jointer). My inner gearhead is quite pleased that the fence surfaces are machined flat...a really nice touch that shows a commitment to the basics instead of flashy gizmos.As others have mentioned, it's best to have a pretty big router table with these systems. It really works fine on a smaller table, you just don't have as much capacity back from the bit. The instructions do cover the basics of adding an extension onto a smaller table, which I did to mine, and it works well enough while I save up for the big 43" Incra table (and router lift, I hope).The LS25 positioner is quite stout, with the red lever locking down the carriage with a solid "thunk". With the fence attached, it's much more rigid than I had guessed with the locking lever so far from the fence. This is a mechanical positioner that uses two sets of threads to position the fence on perfect 1/32" increments, and it really is accurate to .001" (I checked) even without using the micro adjust that allows moving between the 1/32" increments. Forget about tapping the fence into position. Fence setups are also repeatable because of this matched set of threads. Awesome!!I've only done one set of dovetails in poplar for practice. They were good, but not quite perfect...the room for improvement is with me, not the system. The instructions for box joints and dovetails are great and quite short, so all but the most impatient people will be successful. The DVD is fantastic and very professionally done, showing the basic functions and then showing the entire processes for box joints and several types of dovetails.This isn't a cheap system, but it's very clear that it's intended to be a long term investment. It's a tremendous value: you can't buy an American-made table saw for less than $1,700, but a $400 Incra fence system has enough accuracy to completely change how you work. If you're using the tap-tap method of setting your router fence, the speed and accuracy of setting up for everyday routing jobs will spoil you on the first day. I'm convinced that I would get my money's worth with this system even if I never made a dovetail.

This is the best purchase I've made in a long time

It is not often that I purchase something and am left without a trace of buyers remorse, so my purchase of the Incra 25" LS positioner has been a refreshing experience. This system has so impressed me that I recently bought Incra marking and layout tools and their SE1000 miter attachment for my table saw. I fully expect to buy the fence system for my table saw as well.The LS positioner makes it dirt simple to be dead accurate with the fence on my router table. Setup was easy and straight forward. Unfortunately the 25" version was too big for my router table so I was "forced" to make a new one. The dove tails were so easy and fast to setup and cut that the new router table has twenty three dovetailed drawers that look and function as they should. I just got the thing a couple weeks ago so I've only begun to scratch the surface of what it can do. I am a self taught woodworker and it has so changed the way that I look at things in the shop that I can tell I have been transformed as as woodworker. If you don't have one, GET ONE.

Outstanding product

I don't normally do product reviews. In my experience many things are "ok", but they really don't warrant my time to write a review. The LS positioner by INCRA is not even close to "most things." I watched the expertly done sales video's and thought, Ok, this guy is a pro, maybe in twenty years I might be able to do that too if the tool stays together that long. I thought that there is no way the fence can be solid when it is almost 3 feet from the base when extended. I installed the LS on a piece of plywood in my table saw miter slot like their FAQ says you can do, so I expected that would cause some degradation of performance. Let me just say, those things are not the case at all. The fence is rock solid even mounted on the plywood, and my first set of dovetails in some scrap were every bit as good and easy as the guy's in the video. He obviously has more experience than I do, but even so I cut perfect dovetails just using the setup guide in the book, and they were just as easy as it looks in the video. As far as the fence staying together, I have no doubt that it will still make someone very happy when I someday retire from my wood working endeavors, that thing is well built and should last every bit as long as my table saw, maybe even longer. If you are on the fence, thinking the same things I was, just get it. You will not regret it. I also have an Incra miter gage, I literally threw away my stock miter gage, I will never use it again. These guys have some high end tools that will not disappoint.
