This fragrance is stunning! It is fun and fruity, but still manages to have that bit of "sexy" in it. Sexy graffiti is what it's labeled, so treat yourself and buy this hard to find gem before it's too late!(or before I buy what's left..ha, ha!)

Wow such a huge basket...

My mother and brother enjoyed this basket so much they are now hinting for me to send another one... They told me the bacon was too die for and the ham was melt in your mouth good. Love someone send them something that won't wilt in a few days... so much better than flowers... the gift that kept on giving for weeks on end.

Not how I remember it

The ordering process was fine, shipped fast, etc. So the seller gets 5 stars. However, this is not the Ocean Dream I've worn since its inception. It has been a few years now since I've worn it, so the last time I used it it was still probably the original Giorgio version. I knew I was taking a chance this time around. This one by Parfums of London is very "perfumey". All I smell is that strong scent and not the fresh undertones that made Ocean Dream my absolute favorite perfume. So disappointed!UPDATE!!! Perfume Aficionados take note: The European Union is in the process of banning just about every natural substance for use in perfumes. Basic botanical ingredients like natural citrus oils and rose oil are on the very long banned list. Why? Because they *might* cause an allergic reaction. Instead of common sense labeling requirements (like a warning label - hello, nobody has banned peanuts and those can kill some people), they are outlawing ingredients altogether and forcing perfumers to use synthetic substances (I bet the chemical manufacturers love this). Only a matter of time before this spreads to the USA and the perfume industry is completely wiped out. For more information just do an online search for "outlaw perfume project" to find perfumers who are staying true to the art of perfumery. I am sticking with natural perfumes from now on.

Beautiful fragrance, well worth the price *updated*

*Update, June 2011: Still in love with this fragrance, and I find it lasts beautifully. After 15 minutes or so I stop smelling it, but my husband and friends tell me it's still going strong (but not overwhelmingly strong). It's definitely on the softer end of the floral spectrum, but still a keeper.*This is one of my favorite fragrances in my collection of a dozen or so. In fact, the first time I got it, I couldn't stop sniffing my wrist to enjoy it up close. The fragrance isn't overpowering, but it does last for hours unlike others that fade by lunchtime.The bottle is heavy and very display-worthy, and the box it arrives in make this a stunning gift.I generally prefer the "white floral" fragrances, and this one fits right in. Other favorites include Vera Wang original, Bulgari Voile de Jasmin, Acca Kappa Calycanthus, and the limited edition Yves Saint Laurent In Love Again. If you like similar fragrances, it's likely this one will be right up your alley. If you prefer musks, vanilla, or sporty scents, this is probably not one to buy.

Not worth the wait!

Well, I finally tried this after wanting to for years. It sure wasn't worth the wait! Like other reviewers on various perfume sites, I didn't think the tuberose note really stood out. The scent itself faded very quickly. It was gone is less than 15 minutes! I don't hate this by any means but, it wasn't me. The search for a Creed I'm in love with continues...

I SO wanted this to work, and I received a generous sample from Saks to try ... enough for a week! (Yes, generous. Thank you counter gal.)After a week, I decided that Indiana is an average, run-of-the-mill, old-fashioned floral. I imagine it being something that my Grandmother might have worn in the 50s, 60s & 70s ... Strong, floral, feminine.It's just not me. I'll take the florals but I want something more complex, more different, more modern. Tubereuse ... What's all the fuss?

JUST BOUGHT BOTH FRAGRENCES AND THIS IS WAY THE INFERIOR OF THE TWO. METROLIS IS A MUCH MORE APPEALING SMELL, THOUGH LONG OUT OF PRODUCTION. THE BOTTLE I RECEIVED WAS STILL SMELLING JUST AS I REMEMBERED FROM NEARLY 15+ YEARS AGO. LAUDER ON THE OTHER HAND IS THIN, FEMININE AND SITTING ON MY SKIN, I'M SIMPLY WISHING THE SMELLS WOULD TRANSFORM INTO SOMETHING DIFFERENT AND MORE MASCULINE. VERY DISAPPOINTED ON A $60+ BOTTLE OF COLOGNE.

My favorite perfume

Dazzling Silver has been my favorite fragrance from the first moment I tried it.Unfortunately Estee Lauder has discontinued it, and it's getting harder to find.It's very feminine and has a soft floral, sexy scent. I have always gotten many compliments when I use it.It has a long lasting but subtle fragrance.

this is not the perfume the seller says it is

I have long purchased this perfume for my wife who has used it over many years. After it was discontinued, I was lucky to find a store here and there that had inventory remaining. I finally turned to Amazon when I could not locate the fragrance elsewhere. Amazon identified a source that had several bottles and this past December I purchased two and felt lucky to be able to do so. The product description said the bottles were "unboxed" which I found curious but accepted because this is a discontinued item. As received, the bottles had a familiar shape and were in heavy bubble wrap. Not long ago my wife finished a previously purchased bottle she had been using over the past 10 or 12 months. She then for the first time opened one of the bottles I bought through Amazon. She immediatley said that the fragrance, which was barely noticable, was not the Dazzling Silver product she has used for many years. She also said that the color was not right. Upon inspection we saw that the distinctive bottle cap appeared standard but had subtle design changes. This is not the Dazzling Silver product we have known and paid for. We are following up with amazon. Be aware.

Beautiful Sheer started out in the same bottle with a gold top rather than silver. Fabulous scent. Later learned it had been 'reformulated'. Present scent is nice, but nothing like the wonderful original. Wonder why they changed a good thing.
