still seasoning the pot since it comes non=seasoned,do not put in the oven to season ,do this outside,i am still trying to get the smoke smell out of my clothes.the best oil i found to season the pot is flax seed oil.the pot is very sturdy and the right size for small get togethers.

I bought this for my husband as a birthday gift. He (and I) love it. It is the perfect size for our family parties! We made ham & beans, I'd say it fed about 20 people but everyone had 2nds and 3rds!!! Definitely happy with this purchase!
