Received the wrong system for my car. Had to sell the tail pipes and use dumps. I'll never stray from American Muscle again.

This kit is awesome. Amazon had it for $330.00 while everyone else had it for around $560.00! I ended up having to temporarily attach it to my stock catted h-pipe because the UPR offroad x-pipe I ordered didn't fit at all. It sounds great with the stock cats and I'm sure it will sound even better when I put the Magnaflow Tru-x midpipe on it this week. Great fit, great looks, tucks up under the body very nicely, and sounds great. What more can you ask for?The only installation problem I had was a minor one. You have to jack the body up a little bit to get the tailpipes over the axle. That's to be expected though.

This is the best price for this exhaust set-ut I could find anywhere, Amazon had it for $200 less then anywhere else I could find it. It was easy to install. I had two issues during the install though, the brackets on the magnapacks were the same for both, one should be opposite the other to properly install the exhaust hanger. Also none of the tailpipe brackets worked for my car (1998 Mustang GT). I used a grinder to remove the magnapack bracket then had an exhaust shop weld on a new one, put a few welds on the joints, and fab me some tailpipe brackets. I also had to remove the upper control arms to get the pipes over the axle, but thats an easy job and only took a few minutes. It replaced a Bassani cat back. The sound and quality aren't as good with the Maganflow, but thats an $800+ plus exhaust and I believe the magnapacks will make more power. It's pretty much a straight-through muffler. Like another reviewer said, this exhaust has a low rumble at idle and screams at WOT, not too raspy. I also have a Bassani catted X, with an O/R X or H pipe I think this would be way too loud. My car is lowered and when I had the Bassani on there the mufflers were always hitting speed bumps and the top of steep driveways which is why I had to replace them, they were both cracked and unweldable. These, being much smaller and hugging in closer to the body, I have no clearance issues with them.Overall, for the price, this is a good exhaust set-up. While not having the exotic sound of a more expensive set-up, (my bassani's sounded beautiful), they sound good, and much better then some cheap no name or generic flowmasters
