A beautiful kit...

This is a beautiful selection of tools for a serious bonsai enthusiast. The tools are impeccably manufactured, and are finely sharpened, polished stainless steel. Some parts of the handles are textured to provide grip - almost like a sandblasting effect, and are very comfortable to use.The set comprises everything you would need in every day maintenance, repotting and training, and is presented in the soft leather rollup you see pictured, although mine came in a dark chocolate brown rather than the light tan shown.The pouch was also embroidered (on the inside) with the Joshua Roth logo. No garish marketing on the outside.One very minor gripe - the moss knife / root fork implement is longer than the pouch, so it will always stick out of the top. I simply switched it to the end nearest the strap, and make allowances to have the fork prongs point towards the middle of the roll as I wrap up the tools. If it wasn't for having to do that, I would have awarded five stars.I did research buying all the tools separately, given the price, but found that they would have been more expensive, and obviously not included the rollup pouch.Happy pruning, training, trimming, pinching, shaping.... etc.
