Product Description
This Djembe is made of Mahogany HardWood with a Teak Oil Finish-Full and Chocolate Kalimantan Tattoo Gryphon (Griffin) Bird Carving. It has 2 Rings on top providing a secure grip on the goatskin head.
Size: Kindly note that this djembe is hand-carved from start to finish; the height and diameter stated is a size range for this model drum. Height may vary by about one inch and the head size stated is ring-to-ring, meaning that the goatskin playing surface is typically about 1 to 1.5 inches smaller than the ring size. If you are an adult purchasing your first djembe, we highly recommend a drum that is at least 24" Tall with a 12" Head to be sized appropriately. Smaller drums would be purchased for those that want to dance while playing or are looking for a traveling drum.

I was renting a djembe. After 6 mos I decided to invest in my own. The price was what I wanted to spend. It came shortly after I ordered it. I liked the sound and size..Good for a beginner like me!
