Still excellent after 4 years of hard labor

It is more valuable to review items like this after they have been knocked around a bit, rather than when they are fresh out of the box. I wear these on foreign travels when I do a ton of urban walking at great pace as well as some mildly aggressive adventure treks (Macchu Pichu, Angkor Wat, Nicaragua). In all that time, I have never had a single blister or any foot ailment for that matter. These are rugged and dependable, look good and are not too heavy.The outer soles are still in perfect shape, as is the shoe in general. I removed the original insole and replaced with a better odor/moisture absorbent brand (Spenco). I also wear good socks (Ultimax, etc). You can't really polish them yourself because of the color tone, best to get your local shoe fixer guy to give them a polish. In recent times, I just go over them with mink oil or similar waterproofing agent. They need new shoelaces. That's about it.I will try and enclose a photo.
