Excellent Pen for the money; smoother than most similarly priced pens. The one drawback is the small size of the 200 which makes it more difficult to hold comfortably for those with arthritic and/or large hands. In that case the 600 or 800 (and similar size pens)will be much better, particularly if writing a lengthy exposition such as a Blue Book or professional exam. Of course, they cost quite a bit more but you do get an even better nib and stronger construction. I have generally found Pelikan pens to be superior to Mont Blanc when is comes to reliability, leakiness, etc.

I own the M200 and the M600 Souveran 600 Fountain Pen, Refillable, Gold Nib, Black/Green Finish/Black Ink (CHA980029) Category: Fountain Pens, as well as many other fountain pens. While both Pelikan pens write well, I find the ridges from the screw-on threads rub against my index and middle fingers. My favorite pens for writing at length are the MontBlanc 149 and the Sailor M1911 Sailor 1911 Series Standard Red Gold Trims Fountain Pen, Medium nib 11-9101-030M. I am female with fairly small hands. The 149 is comfortable as is the much smaller M1911. It really is a matter of personal preference. (I did not include a link to MontBlanc since I didn't buy it through Amazon - authorized MontBlanc dealers are not allowed to post prices online which makes me wonder if Amazon's third-party sellers are authorized dealers...)I do have to say that at times I have picked up the Pelikans and found them reluctant to begin writing. That never happens with a Sailor or the MontBlanc. (And this is after soaking the Pelikan nibs, which I haven't had to do with the others.)
