Covercraft Noah Custom Fit Car Cover has a high performance non-woven fabric with the film barrier edge for maximum dirt and dust. It is moisture resistance and one can still get the ding protection of multi-layer construction. Both outer layers are bi-component spunbond, using sheath core technology. Each individual fiber has a polypropylene inner core for strength, with a polyethylene wrap for softness. The light gray color doesn't attract heat and the fabric is treated with UV inhibitors for extended outdoor use. The micro-porous film middle layer is a breathable film and a proprietary stretch-film technology developed exclusively for Kimberly-Clark. The film is stretched and then subjected to a chemical process that creates microscopic holes smaller than droplets of water or dust, yet large enough to allow moisture vapor and heat to escape. This helps reduce the bulk of the non-woven fabric, while providing an almost solid barrier against the elements. Its soft, paint-protecting Inner layer is another bi-component spunbond made with polyethylene and nylon. The combination results in an exceptionally high strength-to-weight ratio, with the “soft touch” necessary for today's water-based paint finishes. It comes with 4 Year Warranty.

Cover for 2012 VW Golf R

Nice well made cover, nothing gets through it and it has been keeping my car spotless during the winter. My only complaint is that during the "will this fit my car" sizing, it said this cover will fit the new VW Golf R. It does not! I feel like this will fit the regular Golf but with the Golf R body the fit is super awkward. Does not cover the entire wheel, only maybe half way down it. The lower body kit on all 4 sides of the car is also not covered. It is very difficult to get around the mirrors as well...due to this reason...this is the only way the cover will not blow off in high winds. Since it does not fit, the rope they give you to tie it down is not long enough. Would I buy another...if it fit. yes.
