Good tone, but too much hiss

I bought this pedal and used it for a few days before returning it. There was simply too much hiss when it was engaged. I could hear the hiss even while playing at moderate volume. I do a lot of recording, so this was not acceptable. I emailed BBE, and someone responded right away that the hiss was normal with the bucket brigade chip in the pedal. Too bad - the tone was nice.For another great chorus on the cheap, try an EH Neo Clone. Malekko Vibrato is also nice, but not all that inexpensive.

Love from a chorus hater.

Let me start by saying that I hate chorus. I think it is a nasty effect that sends your sound directly to the 80s. However, I do like it when it is completely over the top (nirvana).With that said, I love this pedal; both the vibrato and chorus sides. They are incredibly expansive and deep with a lush analog sound. I am going to start using it on gigs immediately!! I can't recommend it enough.
