The METALSHIELD protective coating process is a three step finish consisting of a rust inhibiting primer, dipped E-coat electrostatic coating to insure total finish coverage and finally an outer powder coat finish for durability. The METALSHIELD process is an OEM compatible finish providing the best corrosion protection over brands that use only powder coat on their products. All our hitches are custom built according to exact manufacturer and model year specifications and test fitted to ensure a perfect fit, ease of installation and superior towing performance.

Great hitch from a reputable source.

There are so many options when trying to find a hitch these days. But the one thing I thought of was all growing up and even today, when people talk about hitches, they call them a reese. At least here in central Florida we do. "Do you got a reese?" "Lemme go hook up my reese..." "You need a reese on that..." So it was only right to get the original. Same design as every other one, probably same steel too, but way less price tag and with a dependable name that everyone is familiar with and a warranty to back it. Comes with everything needed to mount it, including a cool steel wire bolt fishing coil which was so simple to use and surprised even my mechanic friend who was helping me hold it in place to install. Ever heard anyone say "Ya I got a curt on my truck..." -that joker's whacked
