OEM german quality or bust!

Bought this replacement unit to match my new Fog lamp replaced in a BAD pothole accident in my A6. Both fog housings had an original 140k on them, and were marred up from rock chips and highway impacts, and the glass was even shattered on the right one. The body shop didn't want to replace both, so they chose only one. My left fog needed to be replaced as well since the fogs now didn't match! I have a HID aftermarket kit in the fogs, and i came to find out that the color temperature is vastly affected by the lamp's own glass reflection/projection, so the fog was extreme white (5000k bulbs) and my old left fog light was rock chipped and grimey with a reduced off-white. I had to replace the fog housing because it was aesthetically killing me to see the difference!Come to this purchase, and the unit i decided to go on was the OEM Hella unit, (instead of the cheap ebay replicas you can get for 60$ a pair from HongKong) I installed it and of course, now the color temps are STILL unmatched! (turns out the right replacement was sourced through a 3rd party from the body shop..) anyways i highly suggest replacing your fog housings once every 75-100k because the visibility goes up 2x. German Hella parts or Bust!
