For string breakage reduction the difference is dramatic. Strings that last and last, no matter how hard you play...we guarantee it! My GraphTech StringSaver saddles arrived the other day and I am very pleased with the results. Installation was simple (only requires a screwdriver) and setup and intonation went well, but if you are unsure of how to adjust your truss-rod and saddles, don't chance it by doing it yourself right away. Either hire a pro, or read up on how to do setup and intonation yourself. (Also, be sure to follow GraphTech's online instructions for finding out what size saddles your guitar requires.)After installation and setup was complete, my 15-year-old Fender Strat 1968 Reissue sounded even better than it did when I was new. Great sustain, better frequency response, and while I've not had a chance to break a string yet, I'll take GraphTech's word for it that there will be less chance for it now.If your saddles need replacing, or you are looking for an upgrade in sound from what you currently have, I would recommend these saddle replacements. It's a worthy investment.
