Packing issue

First, I wish I could have found out if the shoe was made in China. It probably was and I would prefer to have purchased an item 'Made in America.'Second, what is this that I hear about the terribe working conditions at the Amazon warehouses? I read that the employees are forced to work in the heat with no air-conditioning. What about heaters?I really enjoy the convenience of shopping at Amazon.com but my two concerns above will prohibit my purchasing. If I can find an item at a different site, I will more than likely make my purchase there.Thank you.
