Decent piece for the money

I looked at the various options several times before I could decide if this was going to work - it's too big to return so I didn't want to make a mistake and overall I'm happy with it. I was speicifically looking for something with drawers. As a piece of furniture it looks nice. If I paid more I could have probably gotten one that was more substancial, but I really didn't need one that was that substancial. There is no hardware for the drawers but you really don't need it for a jewerly armoire anyway. The only negative is there is no speicfic place to put your earrings. Plenty of space for rings and necklaces. I looked all over for a good price because the difference in price was substancial between different web sites. I went directly to the manufacturer and it was more expensive through them!

Damaged top

I received this armoire in great timing for the holiday. As we took the armoire out of the box we saw that it had some imperfections due to debris getting on the armoire as they were putting the stain on and when we went to scrap off the debris, there is now a "light" spot where we scrapped. We thought we could live with that. We then went to put the lid on and there was a quarter sized gouge in the finish. After emailing pics of the damaged top, we now have to wait 10-12 weeks for a new top which is ridiculous. We will see when the top arrives......

Good jewewlry armoire

Very nice as described. I did know, but definately need to realize the bottom four drawers are actually two deep drawers. Easy assembly, the only complaint was there was a scratch on one side, but not worth the hassle to do anything about it. I saw in many other reviews that this was a problem, so just watch for and be prepaired to either live with little imperfections or have to try to get replacement parts!
