Be Careful, Fixture has to Match Valve

Good quality but I had to return this because it didn't match up with the valve in the wall. I wanted to replace my old pull in/pull out fixture that is hard to operate. I found out that only the original style fixture will work with the existing valve that is soldered inside the wall.

This is a very nice shower fixture. It's metal and fairly durable and allowed us to use the existing plumbing without replacing in our 40-year old home.

I bought the Moen Tub and Shower Trim kit to replace the old fixtures on my Moen tub faucet. IMO, replacing the tub faucet/fixture is always best - but in my case, the access made it difficult to drop a new faucet in - so I went with a rebuild / new trim kit. Keep in mind that you may have to retrofit some of your system to get everything on and working. For example, my tub spout was galvanized and would not fit the new style tub spout (I had to re-engineer it to get it to fit). Once everything is on -- it really looks nice and looks like it will last for many years.
