System control panel

The control panel helps me monitor my Xantrex inverter system and alows me to manage my battery bank. At a glance I know when my bank needs charging and if my generator is putting out 60 cycles.

Xantrex SCP

The unit is reasonably well made and reasonably easy to use and read, but DOES NOT come with a CAT5 connecting cable needed to link it to the inverter. When I called about this I was told no cable was included because they wouldn't know what length you needed? So, if like me, you live many miles from a store that sells CAT5 cables, you can't use the display until you get one. Bad policy. Include a short cable, and if the installation requires a longer one, sell the user a longer one.
