The best of the best.....but its pricey.

Got this off Ebay by haggling for about $640 with a brand new engine on it. Its a CY GP460, the engine is made in china, the goped frame is not. Contrary to all the review I see of gopeds on here, this one is amazing. ALL the gopeds are high quality. If you do your research,you'll find out which one is the best. I would warn against these engines though. The GP460 is like playing Russian Roulette....you might get a good one or you might end up with an awful one. Usually the first thing to go on these engines is the plastic starter pawls, but its a cheap fix. Also, the first thing you should do is replace the clutch springs with ones from DDM. (daves discount motors) DDM sells clutch saver springs, since the stock ones are known to fail pretty badly and quickly...leaving you a possibly cracked fan case or worse. Save yoursef the trouble and buy a few parts. This thing has amazing power too!!! Pair it with a Dominator pipe and your rolling....its a bit loud though. The Maddog brakes will stop you pretty good, but might need some adjustment. I would possibly think of redoing the sprocket gearing from 6:98 to something like 7:72 or 7:80 I didn't want to have to buy a chain breaker, so I just upgraded my front sprocket to a 10 tooth from the standard 6 tooth.The CIDLI suspension is amazing. Best out there. End of discussion.The steering and handling is pretty good.....and this is meant for comfort! The stem is built nicely out of steel, and is better than most of the stock stems on gopeds. The brake levers are meh, as well as the throttle....could be a bit better. The kickstand is extremely helpful:)The first thing to do on these though is to replace the clutch springs, then tune the carb, and ALWAYS run 25:1. Never 50:1. The plating on these engines is known to be thin, and running it hard without a sufficient oil/fuel mix will lead to a nice siezed engine thats totally useless.My closing statement would be, if you had no idea what I was talking about in my review, don't get this. Consider something with a Zenoah engine, which is pretty bulletprooof. If your not mechanically inclined, don't get a scooter...period. Or read up.....you need to know or learn something to get working on these.

This thing is just flat out fun! I wasn't really sure how well it would pull me at 180 pounds but it does!!! You can pretty much take this anywhere...

the little riot looks cute and toy like but, don't be fooled. this thing flys as does the trail ripper quad which i also have. they are powered by the gp460rs race engine which is 46cc but you better be holding on when it delevlops it's 4.5 hp at 11,000 rpms they are very exciting. they are not for putting around your back yard unless you have a big enough back yard for them to fly. real fun toys for youngsters an grownups. amazon has the best prices and you'll get it when they say, good luck and have fun, jack mariotti.
