This item was great. Although I've only used them once, they fit great, pretty true to size as listed...adequate room to double sock if you feel the need. they are able to be laced tightly. the only thing thats not perfect is a problem i have with allllll ice skate, and that is that the ankle support is a little pinchy. However these fit way better than all of the ones that i tried on at the sporting good store before deciding to purchase these ones online. plus, they look pretty sporty. also, they are a little bit more shiny, almost pearly, in person.

As a beginning skater, these blades are doing the trick! Great ankle support and a solid boot for added strength.I wear and 8.5 but ordered and 8 in the skates. Plenty of room for a thick sock. I would highly recommend these skates as they are a good value!

The skates give just enough room for a thick sock. My kids think they are pretty cool and they keep my feet very warm.
